YUG SETU : An Introduction
 
 

Yug Setu is a monthly magazine in Hindi, published from Delhi, the capital of India. It reflects the universal values and spirit of the times. The name of Yug Setu and its vision is conceptional idea of Om Prakash Sharma, who resigned from the post of Lecturer against the terror of education mafia and mismanagement, corruption and red-tapism of administration and management. He is the Founder Editor of this magazine. In short, established in June 2011, Yug Setu has become the voice of time and inspiring the new ways of thinking. It will help broaden the mind of readers.

Attained M.A., M.Phil., Ph.D. in Hindi from University of Delhi. Also got a Diploma in Translation from Bharatia Anuvad Parishad, New Delhi and cleared UGC-NET twice. After selection from U. P. Higher Education Service Commission taught Hindi language and literature in Graduation and Post Graduation classes and supervised dissertations on a number of topics from 2003 to 2008. As a Lecturer possessed unique ability to correlate the subjects. Handled the official responsibilities of Assistant Superintendent of University examinations and Electoral Officer and Presiding Officer during elections. Awarded Senior Fellowship (2017-2019) under the scheme of fellowship to outstanding person in the field of culture from Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. Also awarded Junior Fellowship (2000-2002) in the field of Hindi Literature from Dept./Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. Worked as an Actor, Prompter and Director of local-rural drama Stages. Played football and Volley-ball for rural clubs. Performed various moral liabilities of political-cum-social worker in past. ‘Akath Alekh’, ‘Samkaleen Mahila Lekhan’, ‘Jyon Mehandi Ko Rang : Ek Antargaman’, ‘Viram Vithika’, ‘Hindi Lok Sahitya’ are some books authored by him.
